1. He's the second player ever to score in a World Cup final
As a teenager’s the only one to do it before him was none other than the great Pele himself in 1958, when he was only 17 years old and Mbappé Scored against Croatia in a four to two victory as a 19-year-old.
Pele congratulated him and even jokingly said, “If Kylian keeps equalling my records like this I may have to dust my boots off again“, in a tweet following Mbappé’s World Cup win in 2018.
2. He's the 2nd Male player to net a hat trick in a World Cup final
He became just the second male player to net a hat trick in a World Cup final after England’s Geoff Hurst back in 1966. His three strikes came on December 18, 2022 during a staggering final between France and Argentina.

He donated all of his World Cup earnings in 2018 to a charity Premiers de Cordée, which provides free sports instruction for children with disabilities, according to the French newspaper L’Equipe. The total amount came up to €400,000. That’s a very impressive and admirable gesture from Kylian.
6. He actually almost signed for Chelsea in 2012
Chelsea had the chance to sign in Mbappé as a kid.
